Experience the most important days of the year in Zaragoza
At Christmas, Zaragoza dresses its best clothes to receive visitors. These days, the city looks its best with Christmas markets, new lighting and many other activities for all ages.
The Christmas lighting of last year was on december 5th and the different proposals are extended until January 12. Due to the new lighting and the great offer this year, Zaragoza has become one of the most “instagrammable” cities these days.
The Christmas fair has 40 booths with a wide offer of handicraft and gastronomic, to delight young and old. It is worth noting the spectacular 750 m2 tent where the Ice rink is located, next to the Fountain of Hispanicity, and at the opposite side of the square, the sleds toboggan with 23 meters of descent.
For the youngest members of the family, an ecological ferris wheel and cuddly ponies have been set up in Plaza del Pilar, and a new area in the square of the Government Delegation, “DREAMLAND”, where the House of Santa Claus is located, and the little ones will be able to visit and to take pictures with him until December 24.
Together with the must-see of the Santa Claus House, a Venetian carousel of two heights, considered the best in Spain, has been located in the square. It is also a sightseeing of record that we can visit these days in Zaragoza, in the Plaza del Pilar, the largest Nativity scene in Spain. We recommend you to take the tour feeling like one more figure.
The Christmas atmosphere floods the historic center and of the city and the streets are filled with families and just curious people to enjoy these days in Zaragoza. Togetherwith all these activities programmed by the City hall, we must add the program The puppeteers of Binéfar, Arbolé Theater or Gozarte among others, which complement these days with new activities, as well as the Christmas market located in Paseo Independencia, Plaza Aragón and Plaza San Francisco.
